        The college is run by the Muslim Educational Association, an educational organization formed in 1994. Jamiyyathul Mujahideen, Areacode, an organization formed in 1944, is the parent body of the M.E.A. The college was founded with the objective of imparting quality education to backward communities in rural areas, primarily in the district of Malappuram.
